A Columbus police officer accused of paying for sex with three prostitutes while on duty has been sentenced to two years of probation and 30 hours of community service. 46-year-old Randall Mayhew also must pay a 150 dollar fine after pleading guilty to a dereliction of duty charge. Mayhew had been charged with three counts of engaging in prostitution, three counts of solicitation and one count of dereliction of duty. Mayhew was placed on restricted duty in 2015.
