Local, state and federal authorities say a leader of the Short North Posse gang was killed in an officer-involved shooting this morning on the South side. 33-year-old Jermonte Fletcher had been wanted after he and 21 other people were charged with drug crimes in late 2013. Authorities say Fletcher was killed inside of a home in the 2 hundred block of Buffalo Court near Obetz road. Columbus police, Ohio Highway Patrol troopers and U.S. Marshals were involved. Marshals say Fletcher was shot after firing a weapon at officers. Other details have yet to be released.
