Bond is set at 10 thousand dollars for a Columbus man charged with blinding another man with a paintball gun. 24-year old Thomas Woodruff is charged with shooting 72-year old Morris McCarty early Friday evening near Whittier Street and South Champion Avenue. McCarty was treated for total loss of vision in one eye. Police have not released a motive in the case.
