Columbus Man Charged In Child's Death

Authorities have filed charges against the man responsible for taking care of a young girl who was hospitalized late Wednesday.Police say 4-year-old Layla Malone was found unresponsive inside of a home on Caleb Drive on the North side. She died on Thursday. 28-year-old Michael McDaniel is scheduled to appear in court today.
