A Columbus man has pleaded guilty to charges related to a dog fighting investigation in which more than 40 animals were seized earlier this year. Sentencing is pending for 40-year-old Charles Granberry. Prosecutors say an undercover officer found indications a Hilltop home was used to train, fight and sell dogs. The officer saw at least 20 dogs in the backyard chained to car axles buried in the ground. Officers executed search warrants last April at five Hilltop houses.
