Columbus Man Sentenced For Threatening POTUS

A Columbus man has been sentenced to four years in prison on federal charges of threatening to kill President Obama. Federal prosecutors say authorities arrested 41-year-old Michael Clark Junior in 2013 after he sent a letter to the White House detailing his plot. As part of his sentence, Clark must also enter a mental health program after his release.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
