The City of Columbus is naming the new municipal government complex after former Mayor Michael Coleman. Construction of the 73 million dollar downtown complex is scheduled to be completed in December 2017. The eight-story office building will house the city's building-and-zoning, public service and development departments, as well as some public utility offices. Work on an adjacent seven-story parking garage is scheduled to be completed in January 2018.
