Columbus Officer Pleads No Contest To Drunken Driving

A judge ordered 32-year-old Columbus Police Sergeant Joshua Wagner to complete a three day alcohol treatment program, perform 72 hours of community service, as well as pay a fine and lose his drivers license for six months.

Police officials say Wagner had been off-duty when he was found passed out behind the wheel of his car at the intersection of East Second Avenue and Summit Street in Italian Village on September 7th. Police officials say his blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. Wagner has been placed on desk duty.
