Columbus police say a pedestrian is hospitalized in critical condition at after being struck by a vehicle involved in an accident last night in the downtown area.
Police say two vehicles collided at Broad and High Streets, and one went onto a sidewalk, striking the unnamed pedestrian and crashing into a building. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Earlier Saturday, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed at North High Street and Kanawaha Avenue. Police say the victim was in a wheelchair, and the driver remained on-scene. The victim's identity and other details have yet to be released.
