Columbus police shot and wounded a bank robbery suspect after he allegedly raised a gun at officers following a short vehicle pursuit on the northwest side. Police say the suspect fled the Frantz Road bank Friday in an SUV and officers stopped him a short time later at a business park off of Lakehurst Court. Police say witnesses report the suspect got out of his vehicle and raised a gun toward officers. Police say the two officers then fired multiple shots. The man is hospitalized in critical condition. Police say they recovered the suspect's weapon at the scene. Investigators are still trying to identify the suspect.
