Columbus Settles Fifth Lawsuit Against City Employee In Last Two Months

The City of Columbus will pay 35 thousand dollars to settle a lawsuit filed by a woman injured in a crash with a municipal vehicle. Khristina McPherson filed suit after the March 2013 accident with a vehicle driven by city employee Bonnie Patterson. City Attorney Rick Pfeiffer says Patterson collided with McPherson's vehicle on Dublin Road near the 315 interchange.

The deal was approved by Columbus City Council this past Monday. This marks the fifth lawsuit involving a municipal employee the city has settled in the last two months.
