The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will join several others around the country by prohibiting smoking on its grounds. The ban takes effect on Friday. It includes electronic cigarettes and applies to its affiliate, The Wilds. Smoking had been allowed only in designated areas. Such areas will remain in the zoo's water park, and for overnight guests at The Wilds.
