Company Plans Layoffs In Delaware

A manufacturing company plans to lay off 63 workers at its plant in Delaware by the end of September. Columbus-based Emerson Network Power tells state officials the move is prompted by what it calls "business economics." Most of the work at the plant will be shifted to a facility in Mexico.  Last year, the firm announced plans to lay off 60 workers from its plant on Columbus' North side.
