Congressman To Retire

Ohio Republican Congressman Steve LaTourette will not to seek re-election. State Party Chair Bob Bennett would not comment on LaTourette's reasons for retiring, but other party insiders say it is over a dispute with U.S. House leadership on committee assignments. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee.
