Congressmembers Defeat Piketon Funding Amendment

A proposed uranium centrifuge project in Piketon is so far holding onto its funding.An amendment before the U.S. House would have stripped the United States Enrichment Corporation's project of 48-million-dollars. It was supported by environmental and conservative groups. The amendment was defeated this week.
