A Franklin County judge today sentenced the Columbus man convicted of killing a pregnant woman to life in prison. The trial of 27-year-old Keywan Conner was the first capital punishment case before a Franklin County jury in nearly three years.
The jury last month convicted Conner of killing Tenishia Latham but acquitted him on a count of attempted murder involving her baby, who survived the February 2011 attack. Latham's husband's was wounded in the shooting. The jury recommended a sentence of life in prison.
