An outdoor advertising company says it's pulling voter-fraud billboards in Ohio and Wisconsin after complaints that they were meant to intimidate African-American voters.
Clear Channel Outdoor says 145 billboards in predominantly African-American neighborhoods in Cleveland, Columbus and Milwaukee are being taken down. Clear Channel Outdoor has refused to identify who paid for the billboards. A group of civil rights attorneys and Cleveland city council member Phyllis Cleveland complained about the billboards. The Council member says she is delighted with the outcome.
