Convicted Serial Killer Seeks New Trial

The Cleveland man sentenced to death for killing 11 women whose remains were found in and around his home wants his conviction overturned.Attorneys for Anthony Sowell are seeking a new trial. Prosecutors say he lured the victims to his home by promising them alcohol or drugs. A group of local architects are designing a memorial at the crime scene, which is now a vacant lot. The American Institute of Architects hsa met with relatives of the victims, residents and community leaders to get their input about the design. The type, shape and size of the memorial have yet to be determined. The city demolished the home in December.
