Cops Cleared In Separate Shootings

The Columbus Police Firearms Review Board says three officers acted within division policy when they shot two suspects in separate confrontations last year.

Officer Thomas Pellegrini shot and wounded 20-year-old Raiheem Harris in January when he fled officers investigating a shooting in an alley on the Near East side. Two days later, officers Robin Medley and Christopher Britt shot and killed 36-year-old Michael Kelly as he was attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked on East 14th Street.
