The Lucas County Coroner's office says none of the five people who died of carbon monoxide poisoning in a suspected murder-suicide last month had drugs in their systems.
Toxicology test results found no irregularities in the bodies of three children ages 5, 7 and 10. They were found dead in a garage along with their grandmother and uncle. Toledo police say suicide notes indicated the adults planned to kill themselves and the children by funneling fumes from a truck into the car where their bodies were found. Police and family friends say the deaths stemmed from a family disagreement over where the children would live.
