The Central Ohio Transit Authority this week opened a new bus line that provides direct service to Port Columbus from the downtown area.
COTA President and CEO Curtis Stitt says the authority's AirConnect service provides multiple benefits.
The route travels through downtown with 19 designated stops that focus on hotels and the convention center. The AirConnect service began Monday and although it's too early for ridership numbers, officials say they're encouraged by the usage so far. A one-way trip costs $2.75.
