84 of Ohio's 88 Counties posted lower unemployment rates last month as compared with April. The Ohio Department of Job and Family services says Franklin County's rate is 6.1 percent, down three tenths of a percent from April. Delaware County's rate of 4.9 percent was the third-lowest in the
state. The rate for Fairfield County dropped four tenths of a point to 6 percent last month. Madison county's rate declined by the same amount to 6.3 percent. Licking County's rate fell by two tenths of a point to 6.4 percent in May. Pickaway County posted the highest rate in the region - 7.3 percent -
down from 7.7 percent in April. The statewide rate is 7.3 percent.
