Columbus police have now released the name of the man who was shot and wounded by an officer early this morning on the West side. Police say 28-year-old Anthony Trussell is hospitalized in stable condition after being shot in the 8-hundred block of Stephen Drive. Police say the officer was attempting to arrest Trussel on an outstanding felony warrant, but he fled on a scooter and hid in a shed. Police say the officer opened fire during a subsequent confrontation.
