Dad Of Ohio Boy Killed By Van Faces More Charges

A man who Ohio authorities say killed his 4-year-old son by accidentally running over him with his van now faces additional charges including aggravated vehicular homicide.  Authorities allege in a second charge that the accident happened as Natividad de Jesus Hernandez left a construction site he had been stealing from. The 30-year-old Hernandez initially was charged with leaving the scene without speaking to authorities after his son fell out of the van in the Dec. 26 accident. An indictment filed Friday in Union County charges Hernandez with aggravated vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter and two counts of forgery in addition to leaving the scene. Hernandez's attorney, Scott Culbert, denies his client was stealing. Culbert says that the charges will be fought at trial and that Hernandez has suffered enough.
