Dayton Bus Drivers, Mechanics And RTA Approve Contract Agreement

The Greater Dayton RTA and the union representing bus drivers and mechanics have approved a new contract agreement, officially ending last week's four-day strike. The three-year contract includes raises each year and a lump-sum payment into employee health savings accounts. Meanwhile, state lawmakers in the Miami Valley are drafting legislation that would prohibit transit workers from going on strike. The lawmakers says bus service is essential for Ohio communities
