Dayton Company Sold To NBA Team Owner

A bankruptcy judge has tentatively approved the sale of Dayton-based Standard Register to a company run by billionaire Glen Taylor, owner of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota-based Taylor Corporation will pay 307 million dollars for the firm.  The sale is subject to resolution of outstanding objections by various creditors and the settlement of a complaint filed by Standard Register's official creditors committee. Standard Register filed for bankruptcy protection in March.Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley says she'll work with the new owner to keep Standard Register's 850 jobs in her city.
