Death Of Streetcar Plan Prompts City Manager To Resign

Cincinnati City Manager Milton Dohoney says he will resign on December 1st, when the new mayor and overhauled City Council take office. Dohoney was city manager for the past seven years. He is the architect of the streetcar project and parking lease plan that Mayor-elect John Cranley campaigned against this year. Cranley says he will kill the streetcar and  parking lease plans .  He thinks federal dollars for the streetcar should be spent on other items. And Cranley says private enforcement of parking meters would drive customers away from small businesses.
