Defense Supply Center Preparing For Furloughs

Hundreds of civilian employees at the Defense Supply Center in Whitehall are bracing for furlough notices.

Officials say employees will begin taking the unpaid time off in June, giving up one day a week for 14 weeks. The furloughs will also affect 26-hundred employees at the military's payroll center. The furloughs are the result of federal sequester cuts.
