Funeral services are pending for Delaware City Council member Joseph DiGenova, who died Sunday at the age of 71 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. DiGenova has served on council since 1986. He announced his resignation last week, which was to take effect at the end of April. DiGenova was also a businessman who served in the U.S. Air Force.
