A local developer has purchased the Franklinton site of The Florentine restaurant, which closed in late December after 71 years of operations. The Robert Weiler Company purchased the property for 500 thousand dollars. The company says it wants to reopen a different restaurant on the West Broad Street property. When that might happen is not clear.
