Doctor To Plead No Contest In Child's Death

The doctor for a Dayton girl with cerebral palsy who weighed 28 pounds when she died two years ago has agreed to plead no contest to criminal charges and give up her medical license. 51-year-old Margaret Edwards faces up to 18 months in prison at sentencing scheduled for August 6th. Edwards was Makayla Norman's doctor from July 2010 until the girl's death in March 2011 from nutritional and medical neglect complicated by her condition.
