Dog Bites Kill Local Child

The Franklin County Coroner says dog bites caused internal injuries that led to the death of a 3-month-old Columbus girl this week. Mia Gibson died Tuesday after being bitten by her family's dogs inside their Northwest side condominium. Police say the girl was on a couch with her father and apparently fell to the floor as he slept. Police say the attack was accidental. The dogs are in the custody of animal control officials.
