Dublin Alters Vicious Dog Ordinance

Dublin City Council this week formally changed its vicious dog ordinance, voting to end the singling out of pit bulls. Council's vote brings the city'’s ordinance in line with state law and recent court rulings. The state no longer classifies pit bulls as vicious by nature. Court rulings have found breed specific local laws are unconstitutional.
