Dublin School Board Places Levy On November Ballot

The Dublin school board is asking voters in November to approve a 5.9 mil operating levy.

The district says enrollment has increased by 24 hundred over the last 10 years and it will increase by 3 thousand over the next 10 years. The money would be used to build two new elementary schools and a middle school, additions on the high schools, a centralized preschool, and 95 million dollars in renovations district-wide. The levy would cost the owner of a 100 thousand dollar home 207 dollars a year.
