Estate Of Hilliard Officer Killed During Motorcyle Training Files Lawsuit

Hilliard Police

Two motorcycle manufacturers and their trainers are being sued by the estate of the Hilliard police officer killed in 2016 during a training exercise.

Sean Johnson lost control on I-270 and fell to his death from an elevated ramp. The suit against Victory Police Motorcycles, its sales director, Polaris Industries, and Polaris' trainer alleges Johnson and other officers lacked training to ride in close formation. The defendants have yet to comment.
