Ex Chauncey Police Chief Sentenced In Drug Ring

Former Chauncey police chief Charles Wachenschwanz will serve 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of operating a multi-state drug ring. Wachenschwanz also was sentenced to five years’ probation after prison. Prosecutors say he ran a drug ring in Glouster that sold marijuana and oxycodone. Former Detroit police officer Brandon Allen was sentenced in September to 17 years in prison for his role in the drug ring.
