Ex Judges Cannot Use That Title Anymore

The Ohio Supreme Court's Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline says former Ohio judges should not be using the title of judge when they are not on the bench. The board says former jurists should not be using the title "while practicing law, engaging in law-related or other business activities, working in government or other public-sector positions, or providing charity or community service." The board says retired judges assigned to preside over cases as fill-ins may appropriately use the title.
