Sales of existing homes rose in April on the local, state, and national levels.The Columbus Board of Realtors says sales last month bested a record set in 2004, increasing by 30 percent over April of last year. The Ohio Association of Realtors says statewide, the number of existing homes sold rose by nearly 21 percent. The National Association of Realtors says U.S. sales rose by six tenths of a percent from March to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.97 million - the highest level since November 2009.
