The Columbus Board of Realtors says existing home sale rose by nearly 25 percent last month as compared with October 2011.
The median sale price rose by 13-thousand to 133-thousand dollars. The Ohio Association of Realtors say existing home sales statewide rose by 23 percent last month, and the average sale price rose by 8 percent. Nationally, existing home sales rose last month by 2.1 percent, according to The National Association of Realtors. Experts credit low interest rates and an improving employment picture.
