Faber Uses Gun Metaphor To Describe Medicaid Expansion
Republican Ohio Senate President Keith Faber has said he views expanding Medicaid under the federal health care law as an ultimatum from the Obama administration.
Faber likens the ultimatum to the government pointing a loaded revolver at states and saying "do this or else." Republican Governor John Kasich, who supports Medicaid expansion, has framed his decision as allowing the state to recapture Ohio taxpayers' federal money. Faber now says he could have chosen his words more carefully.
