Fairfield County Jail Escapee Sought

Fairfield County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who escaped from a county jail facility this morning.

Deputies say 20-year-old Elias Ferrar walked away from a job assignment at a minimum-security facility for misdemeanor offenders. Deputies say he scaled a six foot fence after unloading a bread truck. Ferrar was being held on a probation violation and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
