A central Ohio man has been charged with felonious assault after authorities say he struck his 25-year-old son in the head after the two got into an argument.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says deputies responding to a 911 call early Tuesday morning in Mifflin Township found 25-year-old Jonathon Knight with severe injuries to his face and head following an argument with his father, 44-year-old Jeffrey Knight. Deputies say it appeared that Jeffrey Knight struck his son several times with an unknown object. Jonathan Knight is hospitalized in critical condition. The sheriff's office says Jeffrey Knight was charged with felonious assault and may face additional charges. He remains in Franklin County Jail.
