Justice Department and FBI personnel say they foiled a suspected terrorist attack on the City of Cleveland by an American citizen.
FBI agent Stephen Anthony says Demetrius Pitts expressed his support for al-Qaida last year while living in Cincinnati, and talked about detonating bombs at a July Fourth parade in Cleveland and later in Philadelphia.
Federal prosecutor Justin Herdman says Pitts began crafting his plan when he moved to Cleveland in May.
