Feds Award Grants To Help Sign Ohioans Up For Health Insurance

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is awarding nearly 2 million dollars to organizations that will help enroll Ohioans in health insurance coverage through the federal marketplace. The Ohio Association of Foodbanks will get about 1.7 million to walk consumers in rural or underserved communities, along with vulnerable populations through the process of enrolling or re-enrolling. HRS/Erase Incorporated is getting 274 thousand dollars to focus on enrolling minorities and the uninsured. Enrollment for 2017 plans starts November 1.
