Feds To Probe Fatal Cleveland Police Shooting
The Justice Department will investigate last year's deadly police chase and shooting in Cleveland.
The Mayor and Police Chief asked the Department to probe claims of excessive use of force in the incident last November. More than a dozen mostly white officers chased an unarmed African-American man and woman, then fired 137 shots into their vehicle. Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were killed. Department officials say the investigation will examine several years worth of excessive use of force claims, along with police division policies.
