Feds Say Ohio Worker Fired For Whistleblowing

Sep 11, 2012

Federal officials are ordering Maumee-based Dana Holding Company to re-instate a former financial analyst fired from its facility in Toledo three years ago.

The Labor Department also says the company must pay the former employee more than a quarter-million-dollars to settle the case filed under the whistleblower act. The department says the unnamed worker was fired for reporting inaccuracies in Dana's annual financial reports. The company says it will appeal.
