Feds Say Third Reynoldsburg Cop Subject Of Corruption Probe

Federal authorities are now investigating a third former Reynoldsburg police officer for stealing cash, drugs and property and falsifying search warrants for ten years. 41-year-old Jamie Burr was suspended last week after “ new information” surfaced during investigations of former cops Shane Mauger and Tye Downard. Burr was placed on leave earlier this year after Downard’s arrest. Downard hung himself in his jail cell. Mauger will be sentenced on theft and conspiracy charges later this year. Investigators are searching for connections between Burr and the others.
