Fight Over Elections Board Members May Go To Court

The Lucas County Republican Party plans to take Republican Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted to court in a dispute over nominees for the county's troubled board of elections. The party's executive committee voted Wednesday to ask the Ohio Supreme Court to force Husted to accept the party's two nominees he rejected. Husted said they contributed to the board's dysfunction. Husted previously removed several board members because of the problems.
