Finalists For State Schools Chief Announced

Four candidates have made the final cut in the search for a new state schools chief.The finalists include Governor John Kasich's education adviser and former Reynoldsburg schools superintendent Richard Ross, along with Interim Superintendent Michael Sawyers. Other finalists invited to interview March 4th are Charles Hokanson, former president of the Alliance for School Choice, and former Massachusetts schools chief Michael Sentance. Superintendent Stan Heffner resigned amid ethical questions about his relationship with a Texas-based educational testing contractor.
