Campaign finance reports show Ohio's only Democratic Supreme Court justice raised 2.6 million dollars for her re-election bid, dwarfing the fundraising of both Republicans defending their seats.
Yvette McGee Brown also accepted 1.9 million dollars worth of in-kind contributions. Her Republican opponent, Sharon Kennedy, raised 36-hundred dollars. Republican incumbent Robert Cupp raised 60-thousand dollars in his race against challenger Bill O'Neill, a former appellate judge who isn't accepting campaign contributions. State senator Mike Skindell raised over 11-thousand dollars, while incumbent Terrance O'Donnell raised 56-thousand dollars.
